And here’s the console on the Grand Tour Pro Bike:
As you can see, the Pro console is quite a bit larger. So it’s going to be easier to see your workout stats and even surf the web with the larger screen on the Grand Tour Pro bike.
Nordictrack Grand Tour vs Pro – Resistance
The Grand Tour Pro bike has more resistance levels than the Grand Tour model: 26 vs 24. This isn’t a lot of difference – but it does give you a bit more room to grow in terms of fitness level.
Nordictrack Grand Tour vs Grand Tour Pro – Handweights
Both bikes come with two dumbells that fit in the console – so you can build in upper body workouts. However the Grand Tour Pro comes with 5 pound handweights vs the 3 pound handweights you get on the Grand Tour model.
Nordictrack Grand Tour vs Grand Tour Pro – Built-In Workouts
The Pro model also gives you a few more built-in workouts: 35 vs 32. Again this isn’t a huge difference. And if you’re planning on getting iFit LIVE – which gives you unlimited new workouts anyways, it really doesn’t matter.
However it’s something to be aware of when comparing the two models.
Nordictrack Grand Tour vs Pro – Stability
The Grand Tour Pro bike is a bit heavier with a heaver user weight capacity (375 pounds vs 350 pounds). So it’s a bit more stable and will hold up better under heavy or more intense use.
The Nordictrack Grand Tour and Grand Tour Pro bikes look very similar – however there are a few key differences that you’ll definitely want to know when deciding between them.
The real differences are seen in the size of the console – the Pro model is larger and easier to read. And you also get a heavier machine with the Pro model and heavier handweights.
Also note that the warranty on the Pro model is a bit longer as well – giving you a bit more protection on your investment.
At the end of the day it really depends on your budget, preferences and workout goals.
