Proform has released a new studio bike this year – the Studio Bike Limited.
It’s very similar to the Proform Studio Bike Pro – but with an interesting twist: You can get it for Free – with a 3-year iFit monthly membership.
This bike itself was built to give you a more immersive training experience with a full-color, HD, touch-screen console..
With the iFit membership you can ride famous world trails and watch the scenery pass you by in the console.
You can also stream studio cycling classes to your console and take a new fitness class every day if you want.
The bike is also easily adjustable to fit your frame – from the seat to the pedals to the handlebars.

Proform Studio Bike Limited – Key Benefits:
Get the Bike…Free
This is a pretty cool deal – but it’s not for everyone. The way it works is this:
If you commit to buying a 3-year iFit membership ($39 – paid monthly), then you can get this bike included for free.
This is a pretty sweet deal if you were going to get an iFit membership anyways – why not get a free bike thrown into the deal? The bike is well built with some fantastic construction and features as well (see below). So all in all – it’s a great way to get a free bike.
Note that this deal is only available from the Manufacturer here.
If, on the other hand, you don’t want the 3-year iFit membership, then you might be better off going with a bike like the Proform Studio Bike Pro .
This bike is very similar – but you pay for the bike up front and get a 1-year iFit membership for free. (Click Here to check out the full review of the Proform Studio Bike Pro).
Full Color, Touch-Screen, HD Console
Most indoor bikes from other brands only give you a dual-color, standard feedback screen and a few built-in workout programs.
But the Proform Studio Bike Limited gives you a multi-color, HD, touch-screen console. At 10 inches across, it’s also quite large and easy to read as well.
So you can see your workout statistics in full color with a swipe of your finger.
Or you can connect to iFit through the console and ride different world trails for some virtual reality fun (more on iFit below).
There are also 22 different levels of resistance on this bike – with quick-touch buttons on the console for fast changes on the fly.
Explore the World with iFit Coach
iFit Coach can help you track your workouts, see how far you’ve come, set new goals and more!
One of the best things about iFit is the chance to bike famous trails all over the world – from the shores of Hawaii to the mountains of the Swiss Alps. You’ll watch real landmarks pass you by in the console screen.
The bike will automatically increase the resistance when you’re going uphill for a more immersive training experience.
You can also take guided workouts where a personal trainer will take you through famous biking trails, guiding you through the workout and pointing out interesting landmarks along the way.
In fact, there are over 12,000 different workouts you can choose from in the iFit Coach library – and they’re always adding more.
Stream High Energy Fitness Classes
Need more of a challenge? Why not stream a daily fitness class to your bike console? There are thousands to choose from – with multiple trainers.
The trainers will lead you through the cycling workout as well as build in some other exercises and training with the handweights, lunges and more.
Free 3 Pound Handweights
The Proform Studio Bike LImited also gives you a free pair of 3-pounds handweights. So you can add some upper body training exercises into your routine as well.
The weights are stored in the frame at the back of your bike seat. The weights are also incorporated into some of the iFit Coach studio workouts.
Console Swivels 180 Degrees
Another great thing about the console on this bike?
It turns 180 degrees! This is great for those times when you want to get off the bike to do different crosstraining exercises in the iFit workouts (just swivel the screen around so you can see it better).
You can adjust the seat vertically or horizontally for a more comfortable fit. The handlebars also offer multiple grip positions as well for a more customized workout.
And the pedals are interchangeable – so you can swap them out for your own if you want. They also come with optional toe cages.
Proform Studio Bike Limited- Any Drawbacks?
Not For Everyone
As stated above – this is a great deal – but only if you were going to get iFit anyways. If you’re not sure you want to try iFit for 3 years, you’re better off going with the Proform Studio Bike Pro.
(Note: This bike – as with all Proform bikes – does work fine without iFit Coach. You can use it as a normal workout bike in manual mode without iFit. iFit is an optional feature. So if you do decide after 3 years that you don’t want iFit – you still have the bike – and you got it for free.)
No Cooling Fan or Heart Rate Monitor
There’s no cooling fan in the console on this bike as there is with other Proform models. There are also no heart-rate hand grip monitors either.
If you’re in the market for a streaming studio bike – but you’re on a tight budget, then the Proform Studio Bike Limited might be worth considering.
If you commit to the monthly iFit membership for 3 years – which is pretty affordable at $39 a month, then you can get this bike for free.
The bike itself is impressive with a full-color, touch-screen console and streaming fitness classes. Plus you can add some upper-body training with the free handweights.
Overall it’s a much more affordable way to get a streaming, studio bike experience in your home.
