Weslo is known for offering discount fitness equipment throughout North America.
They do offer several different types of exercise bikes including recumbent and upright stationary bikes. However to be blunt, they are not well known for being "high quality" bikes.
Then again, their main strength is that they are cheap. Are they right for you?
Weslo bikes start around $150-$300 which are pretty much as cheap as you're going to get in the exercise bike market. So they are great if you're on a budget.
2) Heart Rate Monitors
You can stay in your target fat burning zone with these bikes are most of them do offer heart rate sensors.
3) Built-In Workouts
Most Weslo models also offer built-in workouts - not very many mind but still - you do get something.
4) Easy To Move
Because these bikes tend to be light and come with transport wheels on the bottom, they are easy to move.

1) Knob-Turn Resistance - To increase or decrease resistance you have to adjust the resistance knob on the bikes. And this can be not only annoying but challenging as well. This is very different from the one-touch resistance buttons you get with say a Nordic Track bike or a Trupace.
2) Very Short Warranties - The warranties on these machines are short - usually about 90 days on parts and labor, which should tell you something about the quality of the bike.
3) Non-Backlit Consoles - The consoles on these bikes are not backlit - which can make it very hard to read your workout stats. You'll be straining to see the console.
4) Uncomfortable Seats - We've tried out several of the seats on Weslo bikes and they are not the most comfortable seats on the market - which means you probably won't want to exercise for very long if you have any type of back issues.
5) Few Workout Programs - While you do get a few standard workouts, you don't get a lot of workout programs.
Conclusion: Not Recommended
While Weslo exercise bikes are definitely affordable and give you a few interesting features, they really aren't built to last over the long run (which is what you want in a fitness machine). The warranties are poor, the resistance is a pain to use and the consoles are super-simple.
Overall, we would not recommend these machines as other brands like Nordic Track, Livestrong and Schwinn just give you better overall value.
