Keiser was a pioneer of the indoor group cycling experience, placing over 300,000 of their bikes in cycling gyms over the last 20 years.

Keiser M3i Indoor Cycle Review – Key Benefits:

Designed to Fit All Heights

Have multiple users in your home? Worried about finding the proper ergonomic fit for you?

No problem.

With a 4-way adjustable seat and handlebars – along with a specially engineered V-shaped frame, this bike was designed to mimic different road bike frames.

They do this by allowing the seat and handlebars to be raised in conjunction with each other. This helps to adjust for longer legs, torsos and arms.

Basically this bike will fit users from 4 foot 10 inches all the way up to 7 feet.

Lightweight Rear Wheel Design

The design on this bike puts the wheel in the back, out of the way of sweat and corrosion.

There’s also an angled channel on the bike frame that flows excess fluid away from the drive train – helping to extend the life of your bike.

Plus at only 92 pounds, the bike is also easier to move around than many other spin bikes.

Curved Crank Arms To Fit Any Rider

This is another way the M3i cycle is built to fit the rider (not the other way around).

The curved crank arms (vs straight crank arms on other bikes), allow those with narrow or wide hips to get a proper ergonomic cycling experience.

Plus, it also gives you the space for any type of footwear – from bulky running shoes to narrow bike shoes on the pedals.

Simple, Intuitive Console

There are no buttons on the console – which cuts down on maintenance. The console is simple but intuitive, showing your cadence, power, Kcals, heart rate, ride time, odometer, trip distance, and gear.

Plus, the console senses when light has gone down. It will then light up so you can easily view your stats as you ride. So while the console looks non-backlit, it actually does have a backlighting feature.

And with the M3i model, you can easily connect to your devices like your phone, tablet or wearables and track your progress from there.

You can also connect with the apps of your choice (including the Keiser Ride streaming app) – and stream classes or ride different world trails using your tablet.

Connect Seamlessly with Riding Apps

With the older Keiser M3 bikes you needed to buy the M-series converter to connect with different apps. However with the M3i model you no longer need to do this.

You can seamlessly connect with riding apps like Peloton, Zwift, Kinomap and more to track your workouts or even take streaming classes.

Keiser also has their own streaming service where you can stream their classes to your bike using your phone or tablet. It’s called Keiser Ride and it offers you on-demand indoor cycling classes.

Plus, if you get the Keiser M3i cycling bike through the Manufacturer, you can currently get a FREE 1-year subscription to the Ride streaming classes.

Free M3i Assembly Tool Kit

This is something we’ve never seen offered with a bike before. They send you a full tool kit with instructions on how to assemble the bike.

So even if you don’t have the tools in your home to assemble the bike – don’t worry. You get them WITH this bike.

Interchangeable Seat with Gel Cover

The seat on the Keiser M3i indoor cycle can be changed out for a seat of your choice. Or if you want extra padding you can also put on the gel seat cover that comes included with this bike.

Media Shelf Included

The M3i bike also comes with a media shelf above the console. So you can attach your tablet or phone and stream cycling apps. Or just enjoy watching Netflix or Youtube videos as you cycle.

Redesigned Bike Pedals Give You Options

Keiser also redesigned these bike pedals. You can use your favorite standard workout shoes with the built-in toe clip straps. Or, flip the pedal over to use your favorite cycling shoes with popular SPD cleats.

Keiser M3i Indoor Bike – Any Drawbacks?

Do-It-Yourself Streaming

While this may or may not matter to you – this is really a do-it-yourself bike when it comes to streaming or entertainment options. You have to add in your own tablet/device with streaming options as the console is fairly basic here.

Some people prefer this option – while some don’t. So it’s not really a drawback, just a preference thing.

Bottom Line?

If you’re looking for a premium indoor spin bike from one of the best names in the business, you’ll love the Keiser M3i indoor cycling bike.

It may not look as “fancy” as other bikes. But it has the engineering design and ergonomics to give you a health-club, spin-bike experience – regardless of your height or body size.

With 4-way adjustable seat and handlebars, you can easily fit the bike to your frame for ultimate comfort. Plus, you can change out the seat or choose what kind of pedal style suits your needs.

And with the new connectivity option, you can connect to any device, track your progress and stream your own favorite classes directly to your home.
