Lifespan Fitness Cycle Boxer Review – Key Benefits:

Get Upper and Lower Body Training

Unlike other exercise bikes, you can get upper and lower body training at the same time on this bike. While you can cycle and work your lower body, you can also work your arms on the punch pad.

Flashing colored light targets on the punch pad show you where to hit.

Plus you can score points every time you hit the right target. You can sculpt and train your upper body as well as improving your hand-eye coordination as well.

This is great for martial artists or boxers – or anyone who wants to train their upper, lower body -and their mind as well.

Fully Adjustable

You can find the right fit for your body with the adjustable seat and punch pad. Both the seat and punch pad can be adjusted up or down, back or forward – for the proper ergonomics for your body and height.

This makes it a great option for multi-user families as well since everyone can find the right fit for them.

Gloves Included

You also get the specially designed gloves for the punch pad included with the bike. They protect your fists and leave your thumbs free to move around – so you can also grab your water or use your phone with your gloves on.

Track Your Stats Over Time

Want to see how far you’ve come? Or how you did on your last boxing workout?

It’s easy.

Just download the free Cycle Boxer app to your phone. You’ll be able to see stats from your previous sessions and even start your workout directly from your phone.

No Subscription or Membership Fees

With more bikes offering streaming workouts, they’re also coming in with monthly fees and subscriptions. The Cycle Boxer gives you an app that is completely free. You don’t have any subscription or membership fees to pay with this bike.

Interactive Touch-Screen Console

While it’s a little on the small side, you do get a bright, easy-to-read, interactive screen on this bike.

You can program workouts at the touch of a finger. You can also see your stats like speed, accuracy, distance, calories and more.

Lifespan Fitness Cycle Boxer – Any Drawbacks?

While the concept of this bike is ultra cool, if you just want a simple upright bike, this probably is not the best option for you.

While the boxing pad is great, it does mean the console has to be cut down in size to make room for the boxing pad. And you don’t get as many console options as you would on a standard, mid-range upright bike.

If you don’t really care about getting the upper body boxing workout, you’re probably better going with a mid-range upright bike like the Nordictrack VU 29 or the Proform 8.0 EX Bike.

Bottom Line?

If you’re looking to take your cycling to the next level – and you want a full body workout, the Lifespan Fitness Cycle Boxer may be perfect for you.

Get in on the boxing action and have some fun, earning points and working on your hand-eye coordination – all while working your lower body at the same time.

Plus, unlike a lot of other bikes these days, the tracking app and workout programs are all free – no subscriptions to pay, which is a big plus.

It might be overkill if you want a simple upright exercise bike. But if you want to challenge yourself on multiple levels, while having fun as well, this is a fantastic option.
