Nordictrack Grand Tour Pro vs S22i – Console

The consoles are both full-color, HD and touch screen. They also both stream iFit workouts.

However there are some key differences to consider. The Nordictrack Grand Tour Pro console is smaller at 10 inches across – as seen below:

 

 

 

The Nordictrack S22i Studio Cycle has a much larger console screen at 22 inches across – as seen below:

 

 

 

So it can be a lot more enjoyable to watch the iFit scenery on the larger screen on the Nordictrack S22i bike.

As you can see, they both have speakers with volume control and incline/resistance controls in the handlebars. However the S22i is a lot more finished looking. The arm bars on the S22i are also padded for extra comfort.

Another thing you may have noticed above is that the Grand Tour Pro has a tablet holder above the console. So you can attach your tablet and surf the net or watch YouTube videos as you ride.

So there’s a bit more room for challenge on the Nordictrack Grand Tour Pro, which is surprising since the Nordictrack S22i is technically the higher-end model.

 

 

More Differences

The Nordictrack S22i seat and pedals are compatible with standard road bike seats and pedals. So you can change them out if you want.

The Grand Tour Pro does not offer this option – you can’t change out the pedals or the seat.

So if you’re a die-hard cyclist who likes your own seat and/or pedals, then the S22i bike is the better bet here.

Also, the Nordictrack S22i bikes is built a bit tougher with a Commercial-grade steel frames and enhanced corrosion resistance. It’s also a bit heavier (as you can probably tell from looking at the pictures of each). This helps to make it a bit more stable.

So it would probably hold up a bit better under longer, more intense workouts.
