Nordictrack S15i Review – Key Benefits:
Enjoy the Scenery With the HD, Touch-Screen Console
You get a large 14-inch, full-color, HD, touch-screen console on this bike. So you can see your workout stats with a swipe of your finger as you ride.
This larger screen really makes your iFit Coach world scenery more fun to watch (more on iFit Coach below).
You can enjoy the scenery as you travel all over the world – from the Grand Canyon to the streets of Paris.
The console also houses an auxiliary music port with speakers. So you can plug in your phone and play your favorite tunes as you ride. And the dual-speed console fan is a great way to stay cool while riding.
Another great thing about this console?
You can turn and swivel it 180 degrees! This is perfect for those times when you want to get off the bike to do different training exercises.
Explore the World with iFit Coach
iFit Coach can help you track your workouts over time, set new goals, get new personalized workout programs and more.
One of the best things about iFit however, is the chance to bike famous trails all over the world – from the Swiss Alps to the Grand Canyon – and watch actual landmarks pass you by in the console screen.
You can also take guided workouts where a personal trainer will take you through famous biking trails, coaching you through your workout and pointing out interesting landmarks along the way.
In fact, there are over 12,000 different workouts you can choose from in the iFit Coach library – and they’re always adding more.
Stream Daily Fitness Classes To Your Console
Another benefit you get with iFit Coach? You can take daily streaming fitness classes right for your console!
The trainers will lead you through the cycling workout as well as build in some other exercises and training with the handweights, lunges and more.
There are literally thousands of in-studio workouts to try – from beginner cyclist to seasoned athlete. The instructor can even control your bike’s incline and decline for you during the workout.
With so many classes and HD video workouts to try with iFit, you’ll never run out of fun things to do on this bike!
The best part?
While iFit Coach is a subscription-based service, if you get the Nordictrack S15i through the Manufacturer you can get a 1 year membership to iFit Coach included!
So you can try iFit out for a full year to see if you like it!

Free 3 Pound Handweights
The Norditrack S15i studio bike comes with a free pair of 3 pound handweights that you can use in the iFit workouts for extra crosstraining.
These fit easily into the console area for convenient storage. So you can build in some upper body strength training during your workout
Incline and Decline
Get a more realistic cycling experience with the incline and decline on this bike. The S15i comes with up to 20 degrees of incline and 10 degrees of decline.
Plus, if you’re using iFit to ride different world trails, the bike will automatically incline and decline for you to match the terrain for a more virtual-reality type feel to your workout. Very cool.
Adjust the Bike To Fit You!
The bike is very versatile and easily adjustable. It comes with an ergonomic, padded saddle seat which you can adjust vertically or horizontally.
There’s also multi-position handlebars to find your best upper body fit. Plus this bike is compatible with standard road bike pedals and seats. So you can switch things out and add new pedals or seats in if you want.
Nordictrack S15i Bike Review – Any Drawbacks?
While this is a small thing, the screen on this bike is 14 inches – which is larger than many other bikes on the market. However it’s smaller than the 22 inch screen on the Nordictrack S22i bike (the next model up).
Also, while the bike will work with a wireless heart rate monitor, it’s not included with the bike. You’ll have to pick one up separately if you want to wirelessly monitor your heart rate.
The Nordictrack S15i Studio bike is designed to give you a more realistic and effective training experience. It really takes at-home cycling to the next level.
From the multi-position handlebars and adjustable seat to the daily fitness classes and the world-wide trails – you just get a whole lot more with this bike than other brands on the market.
It may be a bit over-the-top if you’re looking for a simple, basic bike for occasional use. However, regular cyclers will love all of the things you can do on this bike.
Where to Buy and Save:
You can get the Nordictrack S15i Studio Cycle direct through the Manufacturer here. You will get the 1-year iFit Membership included – plus they’re also offering Free Shipping which can save you about $150.

I got this bike 3 months ago and absolutetly love it! Much cheaper than the Peloton and I can do more than just take classes with ifit – like bike the grnad canyon or tour through portions of the tourdefrance. Don’t really care about taking spin classes- but it’s a nice option to have anyways. thanks for the post -Terra
had this bike for 2 weeks and it’s amazing – half the price of the pelaton and you get a lot more too – no problems with ifit, love the chance to cycle the swiss alps. Alredy lost a couple of pounds – that incline kicks my butt!
