Proform Studio Pro Bike Review
Proform Studio Bike Pro – A Good Choice For You?

The Proform Studio Bike Pro is one of the most affordable models in Proform’s studio bike series.
It was originally called the cycle trainer, but Proform renamed it to the Studio Bike Pro a year after that.
It gives you some very cool features for a more immersive training experience.
For example you get the full-color HD, touch-screen console.
So you can ride iFit Coach trails all over the world and watch the scenery pass you by in the console.
Or stream high-energy studio fitness classes right to the console of your bike for more challenge.
Is the Proform Studio Bike Pro a good buy for you? How does it compare?

Key Benefits of the Proform Studio Bike Pro:
Full Color, Touch-Screen, HD Console
You get the very full-color, HD, touch-screen console that make these bikes popular with buyers.
At 10 inches across, it’s not the largest console the Proform makes. But it’s still pretty good – and easy to read.
You can see your workout statistics in full color with a swipe of your finger.
Or you can connect to iFit through the console and ride different world trails for some virtual reality fun (more on iFit below).
There are also 22 different levels of resistance on this bike – with quick-touch buttons on the console for fast changes on the fly.
Explore the World with iFit Coach
iFit Coach can help you track your workouts, see how far you’ve come, set new goals and more!
One of the best things about iFit is the chance to bike famous trails all over the world – from the Swiss Alps to Paris. You’ll watch real landmarks pass you by in the console screen.
The bike will automatically increase the resistance when you’re going uphill for a more realistic training experience.

You can also take guided workouts where a personal trainer will take you through famous biking trails, guiding you through the workout and pointing out interesting landmarks along the way.
In fact, there are over 12,000 different workouts you can choose from in the iFit Coach library – and they’re always adding more.
Stream High Energy Fitness Classes
Another benefit you get with iFit Coach on this bike is that you get to stream daily fitness classes from your bike’s console.
The trainers will lead you through the cycling workout as well as build in some other exercises and training with the handweights, lunges and more.
And the best part?
While iFit Coach is usually a paid subscription service, if you get the Studio Bike Pro from the Manufacturer, you can currently get a 1 Year Membership to iFit included.
So you can try it out for a full year to see if you like it!
Free 3 Pound Handweights
The Proform Studio Bike Pro also comes with a free pair 3 pound handweights that you can use in the iFit workouts for extra upper body crosstraining.
They fit easily into frame at the back of your bike seat for easy storage. This is a great way to add some upper body strength training to your workouts.
Console Swivels 180 Degrees
Another great thing about the console on this bike?
It swivels 180 degrees! This is great for those times when you want to get off the bike to do different crosstraining exercises in the iFit workouts (just swivel the screen around so you can see it better).
Completely Adjustable
You can adjust the seat vertically or horizontally for a more comfortable fit. The handlebars also offer multiple grip positions as well for a more customized workout.
Proform Studio Bike Pro Review – Any Drawbacks?
No Incline/Decline
While it does have 22 resistance levels for extra challenge, this bike does not have incline or decline like the similar Nordictrack S22i Bike.
No Cooling Fan
There’s no cooling fan in the console on this bike as there is with other Proform models. It’s a small thing, which may or may not matter to you.
iFit Subscription
You can use this bike without the full iFit subscription (there’s a free version of iFit you can use which also includes some built-in workouts). However you won’t get all the fancy iFit classes or world trail rides without the full subscripton.
Bottom Line?
If you’re looking for an affordable studio bike that still gives you interactive training and streaming workouts in your home, you’ll love the Proform Studio Bike Pro
You can explore trails all over the world while enjoying the scenery on your full-color console. Or stream a daily studio fitness class right to your bike.
And when you’re ready, add in some upper-body training with the free handweights.
While it’s a bit more basic than some other studio bikes on the market, it’s also hundreds of dollars less, making it a great value buy.
