Proform Studio Bike Review – Main Benefits:
Realistic Crosstraining with Incline and Decline
Add a more realistic cross training experience with up to 15% incline and 15% decline on this bike. It’s power incline/decline, so you can change your setting easily with a quicktouch button on the console.
The bike also integrates with iFit and automatically adjusts the incline and decline to simulate the actual terrain of the world trails that you’re riding. (Don’t want this features? No problem – you can override it if you choose).
Find Your Most Comfortable Fit
The bike is also completely customizable and adjustable. You can adjust the handlebars horizontally and vertically. Plus they also rotate – so you can find the most comfortable position for you.
You can also adjust the seat vertically or horizontally. Plus the pedals are interchangeable with optional toe cages and clip-ins. You can easily swap them out for your own if you choose.
Tablet Holder Above the Console
Attach your tablet above the console and surf the web or watch your favorite TV shows as you ride.
You can also use your tablet to connect with iFit Coach and ride trails all over the world – from the Swiss Alps to the Shores of Hawaii (more on iFit Below).
Exlpore the World with iFit Coach
iFit Coach is a new smart tracking feature. You can use it to track your workouts over time, set new goals and get personalized workouts sent directly to your bike.
One of the best things about iFit is the chance to bike famous trails all over the world – from Paris to the Grand Canyon – and watch real landmarks pass you by in your tablet screen.
This adds a much more “virtual reality” feel to your training and can motivate you to work harder and reach new fitness heights.

You can also connect to iFit Coach and take a high-energy studio bike class from your tablet. Who needs the gym when you can take a person-trainer-led cycling class from your own home?
You can also use Google maps to plot out your own trail (for example if you want to bike through an old neighbourhood). Then you’ll be able to watch the scenery through your self-mapped trail as well. The bike will also incline and decline to match the terrain.

3 Pound Handweights
You also get a Free pair of 3 pound dumbbells included with this bike. These fit onto the lower console bar for convenient storage. So you can easily build in some upper body strength training intervals during your workout
Swivelling Console
Want to keep watching iFit Coach workout classes off the bike? It’s easy – you can swivel the console 180 degrees.
So you can get off the bike and swivel the console around if you want to keep training off the bike. (Some iFit Workouts include crosstraining exercises like stretching, yoga etc – so this is super convenient).

Proform Studio Bike Pro Review – Any Drawbacks?
iFit is optional on this bike – you don’t need to add it if you don’t want it. But if you do want to try it, you’ll need to get an online subscription from the Manufacturer.
Also, the console on this bike is a little basic – and much simpler than the Proform Studio Bike PRO model (which has a full-color, touch-screen console – seen below).

Because of the limited console, if you don’t have a tablet you can use to connect with iFit Coach, you won’t really get full use out of the iFit workouts.
Bottom Line?
The Proform Studio bike is a super-affordable indoor studio cycling bike. The commercial-gauge, steel frame and heavy machine weight give it a strong, stable feel.
Plus you can easily customize the bike to get the most comfortable feel for you.
It falls down a bit in terms of console options. But you can get around this if you have a tablet you can connect to iFit coach (or another online streaming service). Then you can add in the incline and decline for a more virtual reality-type of training experience!
