The Sole LCB bike is Sole’s premium upright bike. It comes with tough-as-nails construction and a heavy 30-pound flywheel for a smoother feeling ride.
Plus it doubles the amount of resistance of the Sole B94 bike – with a whopping 40 levels of resistance instead of 20.
So you have a lot of room to grow with this bike.
Sole also added a tablet holder above the console a few years ago.
So you can add your tablet and watch your favorite Netflix shows or Youtube videos as you cycle.

Sole LCB Upright Bike Review – the Pros:
Heavy-Duty Design and Feel
Despite it’s very-affordable price tag, this bike looks and feels like a health-club style machine complete with easy-to-adjust, molded seat, and heavy-duty steel frame.
You also get a whopping 30-pound flywheel on this model. A heavier flywheel helps to give you a smoother feeling ride, especially during the resistance transitions.

Large, Backlit Console
The Sole LCB bike console is larger than the B94 model – around 10 inches across. It’s also backlit and more advanced – with a better screen display and a more intuitive layout.
There are also speakers in the console and a port to plug in your device. So you can play your favorite workout mix as you ride.
Need to keep it quiet? Plug in your headphones using the headphone jack in the console.
Another bonus?
There’s a tablet holder above the console. So you can attach your tablet and watch your favorite shows or Youtube videos as you cycle.
And with a USB port behind the console to charge your tablet, you’ll never have to worry about running out of battery life.
Padded, Adjustable Seat
The large seat is padded for extra comfort. You can also easily adjust the bike seat both vertically and horizontally to find the most comfortable fit for you.
The pedals also have adjustable straps to secure your feet. And you get 2 bottle holders within easy reach to store your phone, keys, remote or water bottle as you ride.
40 Resistance Levels
While most bikes at this price point give you around 18-24 levels of resistance, the Sole LCB bike gives you an impressive 40 levels of resistance.
That means there is a LOT of room to grow with this bike. You won’t top out at the highest resistance level on this bike and have nowhere to go during your first or second year of owning it.
Self-Generating Power
This bike uses self-generating power. Just get on it and start pedalling to start it up.
So you don’t need to place it near an electrical outlet – you can place it anywhere in your home that you prefer, which is a nice option to have.
Sole LCB Bike Review – Any Cons?
The console is larger than Sole’s other model. However, compared to other brands which give you full-color, HD, touch-screen consoles with streaming workouts and world trail cycling like the Nordictrack VU29 bike, it does fall down a bit.
Sole hasn’t really updated this bike in a few years and it’s starting to fall behind in terms of tech.
Then again it also comes in at a fantastic price point – so you might not care that it doesn’t have as many fancy bells and whistles as other upright brands.
Bottom Line?
The Sole LCB upright bike is perfect for those wanting a stable, well-constructed upright from a great name. It feels heavier and more solid than your average starter upright bike.
Plus the 30-pound flywheel will give you an overall more smooth-feeling ride than a lot of other bikes.
The console is on the simpler side. However with the addition of the tablet holder, you have the freedom to add your own enterainment using your tablet if you want it.
While it’s not necessarily a commercial grade bike – and it is on the simpler side – for this price point it’s offers great value for the money.
